Stored between 32 and 39,2 F, our sliced tuna is DLC certified by an independent laboratory for 35 days after being vacuumed packed and 8 days after opening. The open packs should be refrigerated.
Delicately cut from the heart of fresh smoked ALBACORE tuna fillet, the average weight of a slice is 1,058 Oz. The slices are placed on a standard cardboard food tray, with a spacer between each slice and then vacuum packed. The vacuum pack is then put into its commercial packaging, with a net weight of 4 0z for 4 slices.
ONE FOR INDIVIDUAL BUYERS AND ANOTHER FOR PROFESSIONALS
The packages of a smoked sliced ALBACORE measure 11 x 7 inches. The cartons for export are waxed cardboard boxes, meeting international air transport standards (28 x 14,6 x 7 inches), with a waterproof liner and Gel-Ice. The master carton contains 30 consumer- ready packages, for a net weight of 7,93 lb.
