Caught on the hook, between 400 and 600 meters by our own vessels flying the French flag, in the heart of the Southern Pacific, in the Exclusive Economic Zone of French Polynesia, albacore tuna has an average weight of 30 kg and is a 100% wild, with delicately pink flesh, rich in protein of 25 to 30 gr / 100gr, as well as been the leanest fatty fish with only 5% fat / 100g, therefore low in calories.

 

A sustainable species of fish.

The French Polynesia fishery has been certified by MSC as sustainable since 2018 for the species tuna Albacore (Thunnus Alalunga), yellowfin tuna (Thunnus Albacares) and swordfish (Xiphias gladius).
